Testimonials

Useful Media

With my partner, I’ve worked both as an independent producer and a service producer.

In either role our focus has been on social, health and development themes and messages.

I’m grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to design and deliver productions in a range of genres and formats to serve diverse communications objectives and audiences.

Below are some client organisations I’ve had the privilege of working with, and some nice things people have said about us.

THE POSSIBILITIES

Managing a project thousands of miles away is daunting but John and Renée were consistently responsive, professional and extremely well organized. They understood the goals of the project well and shared the same hopes for it that ITECH, MOH [Ministry of Health] of Botswana and I did. They consistently gave “their all” to the project and because of this the final program exceeded expectations.

ACHAP

It was like having a new department within our organisation. Renée and John provided us with an amazing insight into our own organisation and their clear understanding of what we wanted to achieve was clearly evident in the final product. Their amazing ability to grasp what the client wants to see is a true testament to their commitment to gaining an excellent understanding of the arena in which the client operates.

DULA SENTLE

Our goals and expectations have not only been met, they have been exceeded thanks to the professional, sensitive and realistic approach. Renée Gilbey and John Clement have been able to capture life at Dula Sentle, the effectiveness and impact of our project and its music program in its natural setting.

One of the main reasons of this success is the ability to become part of our environment, to truly understand our workings and to recreate this experience into a visual piece of art, reflecting our day-to-day reality.
Bottom line, we have been able to promote Dula Sentle in ways we did not know would have been possible thanks to their professionalism and guidance.

BANNA TSOGANG: MEN, SEX, AND AIDS

The shooting of this video was a challenge… as it centered on using the concept of sexuality to address the issue at hand, male involvement in sexual reproductive health. The resulting video is a tool that is both educational and informative to its audience. They not only demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, they provided us with an environment of team spirit, which was crucial for a project of this nature.

Co-ordinator, Men, Sex and AIDS: Botswana National Youth Council

LIFE’S WORK: WOMEN IN THE TRADES

The video is very effective as a campaign medium in schools and in public education. Both government and non-government officials have expressed gratitude. We would not hesitate to recommend them to any individuals, companies, or foreign missions that want to engage them for a similar purpose.

CLEAN SWEEP and ON TARGET

The resulting videos were excellent for the purpose and are being actively used in our training and promotional activities. Renée and John showed a high degree of professionalism during contract preparation and negotiation, during planning of the production, filming in the field in the Okavango Delta and throughout later production. I found working with Renée and John a pleasure and would not hesitate to use their services again.
